We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Children’s Therapy Service as a Clinical Pathway Lead for the North Hampshire Children’s Therapy Service. The role would suit an experienced specialist or Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist. The role will involve clinical work across a wide range of conditions across all pathways, as well as acting as the lead clinician for further developing and updating our pathway for neuromuscular conditions.

We are currently in a time of transformation learning from our experiences within the Covid-19 Pandemic and the successful candidate will have opportunity to help shape our service and implement different ways of working. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge in neuromuscular conditions and the paediatric physiotherapy management of these conditions alongside performance management processes in the line management of staff. Excellent organisational and communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to quickly gain a good rapport with people from a range of backgrounds will be essential.

Our Solent Integrated Children’s Therapy Service consists of Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and administration staff. As part of a multi-disciplinary and multiagency team, this role provides services for children with neurodevelopmental concerns experiencing a wide range of pathologies, working across various settings including community clinics, special and mainstream schools, preschools and home visits. The successful candidate will be expected to work across the locality of North Hampshire and will be based over two sites, Aldershot Centre for Health and Adelphi House in Basingstoke.
