Care to join us? Are you seeking experience working in an Occupational Therapy led inpatient therapy service? Due to service development and investment our team is expanding. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Band 5 Occupational Therapists to join the Inpatient Therapy service. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a genuinely holistic Occupational Therapy role within an established, friendly, and supportive team.

 

We are looking for motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapists to help us shape the development and delivery of inpatient mental health services. Parklands Hospital is a recovery focused in-patient adult mental health unit situated in North Hampshire. The hospital provides both Ministry of Defence and National Health Services comprising of acute admission wards and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

 

Your responsibilities will include supporting the service to optimise admission, exploring any problem areas with functioning within and outside of the home environment. You will have access to dedicated Occupational Therapy spaces including sensory rooms, gym, IT Hub, and multi-functional activity rooms. There are multiple therapy garden spaces including a sensory garden for you to deliver your interventions as well.

 

Focusing on holistic care and recognising a variety of skill sets means we welcome applications from diverse Occupational Therapy backgrounds, whether you’re looking to change direction and develop your career within mental health, or a seeking your first qualified Occupational Therapy role.
