The RVI Catering Department have an exciting opportunity for 2 part time Catering Assistants working at our Baltic Lab Site in our restaurant working night shift from 22.00 to 06.00, 3 day on 4 days off and 4 days on and 3 days off on a 12 week roster working an average of 26.25 hours a week, this is a fixed term contract until 30th September 2022. The labs are sited just next to Gateshead stadium and your duties will include -

1. Serving hot and cold food to Lab staff through out the night.

2. Stock control.

3. Making of sandwiches/jacket potatoes

4. Cleaning duties.

5. Using a till and card machine as no cash is used on site.

6. Filling in of restaurant paper work.

7. Helping chefs clean down in the kitchen and using a dishwasher.

You will need a good awareness of food hygiene and be willing to under take allergen training and COSHH training and hold a level 2 in food hygiene.

Please note all interviews will be held in line with social distancing rules, if you have a new cough or high temperature at the time of the interview you will not be allowed to attend.

We pay good enhanced pay for working weekends and also pay night shift allowance.
