Nutrition and Dietetic Service
£18,546 to £19,918 pa

Leeds Community Healthcare is looking to recruit a permanent full time Administrator within the Adult Community Dietetic Service You will work as part of a small and friendly team of Administrators who are responsible for supporting the clinicians within the service. You will pride yourself on having an excellent telephone manner, customer service and IT skills.

We are currently working a hybrid model of working from home and from the office which is at Parkside Community Health Centre. The service supports patients with a variety of nutrition related conditions. The team works remotely and in settings across the city such as clinics and care homes. Hours worked would need to be during core office hours 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • By phone, being the first point of contact for the team to patients\carers and health care professionals.
  • Listening to and understanding service user needs. Your induction will ensure you develop a thorough understanding of the service offered and systems used so you can answer queries about referrals and appointments.
  • The service uses an electronic paper record system. The post holder will provide a modern and timely clerical service including, registering referrals and booking appointments via SystmOne (training will be provided on this system).
  • Ensure accurate entry of activity and outcome data in accordance with the Trust’s data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Support the provision of patient clinics including providing administrative support to clinicians, word processing letters/tasks and reproducing resources.
  • Monitoring stock for office equipment and patient education/service materials.
  • Actively contribute to effective team working and innovation.

Also required are excellent communication skills. GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths, IT skills and previous experience of working with people in a customer service role. Experience in a health environmental or administration would be desirable.
