STAFF NURSE

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

£25,655 - £31,534 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 5)

37.5 hours per week - PERMANENT

A unique opportunity has arisen for a committed and compassionate critical careICU nurse, with a passion for delivering high standards of care, to join our dynamic team on the Intensive care/Critical care unit at Barnsley NHS foundation Trust. We are a 16 bedded critical care unit, funded to 10 level 3 beds and 6 level 2 beds and are currently in the process of building a brand new purpose built Intensive care unit, which we hope to move in to, Autumn/Winter 2022.

This position will enable the successful applicant to develop their knowledge and skills in caring for critically ill adults within a supported environment.

If you have good assessment skills, work well within a multidisciplinary team, enjoy daily challenges, learning and are passionate about providing quality care this position could be for you.

You will have a comprehensive induction programme depending on your previous experience supported by the unit’s clinical educator and you will work with an experienced team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other allied professionals who can support you.

This post will include shift work, consisting of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, we support flexible working patterns and part time hours can be offered.

Enhanced Check: £40.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from 1st months’ salary, £10.00 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
