Personal Assistant to Clinical Genetics Senior Management Team

Band 4, full time - 37.5hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Personal Assistant (PA) to the Senior Management team within the Clinical Genetics Department based at Chapel Allerton Hospital.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and knowledge in the Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administration support to the Senior Management team, including the Service Manager, Lead Consultant and Lead Counsellor.

We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible person who is able to work under pressure in a very demanding role. Candidates will need excellent organisation and communication skills, the ability to work under minimal supervision and the ability to meet deadlines. Candidates will need to be proactive in their ability to prioritise their workload. Previous secretarial/PA experience is essential.

RSA III in word processing or equivalent is an essential requirement to undertake this varied and interesting role, along with GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

The Trust will administer the check on your behalf & will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service & pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.
