Are you a registered nurse or paramedic with experience in triage or minor illness? Do you have a passion to deliver the great care? If so we have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, forward thinking clinician to join our Team at Solent GP Surgery.

Having been in existence since 2010, #TeamSolentGP have evolved from three separate practices (Adelaide, Portswood & Nicholstown) to form one surgery in 2017. We now run Systm1 and care for a total of 20,000 patients within Southampton City- basing ourselves at the Royal South Hants Hospital, Portswood and Adelaide Health Centre. We are a member of Southampton Central Primary Care Network (PCN), and work hard to play an active role in developing future services.

We’re looking for a Triage Nurse or Paramedic to join our same day care team, which currently consists of ANPs and GPs. You’d work closely with them to triage, signpost and treat patients on the day- either over the phone or face to face, as clinically appropriate.

We’d really welcome someone who is passionate about putting patient’s first, loves working as part of a multidisciplinary team and really values learning and development.

We are unique in the fact that we run an APMS contract for Southampton City CCG and therefore benefit from having a salaried GP model with clinical leads in place, as opposed to GP Partners. We’re doing things differently and are really trying to think ‘outside the box’ when it comes to bringing primary care into the 21st century.
