Are you organised and efficient with great attention to detail? Do you like problem solving, developing and leading a team? South Western Ambulance Service has an exciting opportunity available for a Head of Information role within the Insights & Analytics Team.

The successful applicant will join the Insights & Analytics Team which is a fast paced, dynamic and progressive department involving Data Warehouse Development, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics and Data Science. The applicant will bring these functions together to allow for a more holistic management of the production, consumption, assurance and integrity of information both within the Trust, and in collaboration with partner organisations.

Applicants must have a Masters in a relevant field or have strong evidence of experience working in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Data Science or Computer Science. Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous demonstrable experience of project management, excellent problem solving skills and experience working with sensitive data will be essential. Successful applicants must have experience of setting and implementing corporate strategies and presenting technical and complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

Expert in SQL and data analysis.
