Wickhambrook Surgery are looking for an Assistant to join their friendly, supportive dispensary team. This is new role with scope to develop skills in dispensing and / or administration in our busy GP Surgery.
The role is for 16.5 hrs over 2 days a week (Mondays and Fridays)
Monday: 09.00 am – 1.30 pm 2.30 – 6.00 pm
Friday:09.00 am – 1.30 pm 2.30 pm – 6.30 pm
A degree of flexibility to provide cover is desirable.
The following are the core responsibilities of the dispensary assistant. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

Wickhambrook Surgery is located in beautiful, rural Suffolk countryside, betwixt Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Haverhill, serving a patient population of approx. 5100 pts.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order (as amended) and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
