Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly formed community mental health team?

We are currently looking for highly motivated and innovative Band 6 senior nurses, social workers or OTs to join our newly created CMHT. The CMHT is a lively, dynamic and busy multi-disciplinary team which provides care coordination and recovery focused care for individuals with complex and challenging mental health needs. You will be responsible for leading a small team of unregistered workers managing a complex caseload to deliver planned and recovery focused mental health care. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and be involved in training and mentoring new and unregistered staff as well as providing excellent front line clinical care.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team being established to develop a modern CMHT to provide compassionate, kind and recovery focussed care to our patients, carers and families.

As a senior clinician, you will need to be able to work autonomously in the community and use your own initiative. The successful candidates will have sound clinical skills, be able to coordinate complex care packages, have good administration and IT skills, as well as a good working knowledge of CPA processes, report writing, organizational skills, safeguarding knowledge and the ability to identify issues and demonstrate ownership of change processes.

We would welcome candidates who are interested in flexible working patterns including a long day model and condensed hours.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment.
