The Trust will support you in this duty by providing ongoing training, support and advice and have a Corporate Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for guidance and the provision of safeguarding supervision.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and innovative registered mental health nurse to lead a newly formed Nurse Led Clinic. The Nurse Led Clinic is key to our new approach to transforming mental health services in the Basingstoke area. Working closely within the multi-disciplinary team, the Nurse Lead Clinic will offer short term focussed clinical support, to enhance the patient journey through a modern and innovative CMHT. This will form part of the exciting changes across mental health services in Southern Health NHS foundation Trust.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of this transformation and the beginning of shaping and developing a modern CMHT to provide compassionate, kind and recovery focussed care to our patients, carers and families.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to work collaboratively with patients as part of their recovery journey. You will have a solid foundation in clinical practice, be organised, proactive and an excellent communicator.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment.
