This is an exciting opportunity to take the strategic lead in the development of the Office of Data Analytics (ODA) in Leeds. Working across the Leeds health and care system and beyond to build partnerships in how we use data as an asset to improve the lives of the people we serve. You will be the driving force behind the success of the ODA playing a vital role in developing and increasing the remit of the service across the region. You will have the opportunity for your teams to implement the use of the latest technologies in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data architecture, provisioning and management.


You don’t need to be a technology specialist, as we have people who have the capabilities to do that, but you do need to be a strong advocate for the use of data in decision making. You need to be able to operate with confidence at executive level across the region with public sector leaders. Ideally you will have a background which can demonstrate using information on a daily basis to make real time decisions which have a significant impact. You must be passionate about your area of expertise and be able to win the hearts and minds of key stakeholders, through demonstrating real results alongside a compelling vision of the future.
