Solent NHS Trust specialises in providing high quality, best value community and mental health services. With a workforce of around 6,300 people and a turnover of £238 million, we provide a range of services in communities across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight geography. We are looking for a new Chief Executive who shares our ambition for both our Trust and for the system as a whole. We need someone who will lead our organisation and who has the emotional intelligence and bravery to look outwards and play a big part in developing our system. We are a well-respected Trust and want someone who can grasp the bigger picture and ensure that Hampshire and the Isle of Wight builds a strong system, tackling health inequalities and delivering better care for our communities.

All patient facing workers in England will be required to ensure they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, from 1 April 2022 . It will be a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated. This requirement will also apply to those in ancillary support roles such as porters or receptionists who may have social contact with patients but are not directly involved in their care.

To be fully vaccinated you must receive both doses of a Covid-19 vaccination. Successful applicants will be required (unless exempt*) to provide evidence of their covid vaccination status (NHS COVID Pass) or evidence that they have commenced their journey to becoming fully vaccinated. If the required evidence cannot be provided then any offer of employment may be withdrawn.
