We are looking for Social Worker to join our Mental Health Teams. The role of a Mental Health Social Worker is hard to define, but that’s because of the breadth and depth of the work we do - which means no two days are ever the same.

Cambridgeshire County Council, through their Section 75 Agreement, provides mental health social work embedded in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

All this plus a relocation package of up to £8,000, generous annual leave entitlement (28 days plus Bank Holidays) and flexible working opportunities. This role is also eligible for our generous retention payments. We offer a scalable retention payment to loyal social workers after the first full year of employment, this increases during the first three years of service. On completion of three continuous years you will receive a fixed sum for every year you remain in post thereafter.

IMPORTANT: This role will require you to enter the premises of a CQC-registered care home as part of your employment. Regulations which come into force from 11th November will require employees over 18 who enter CQC-registered care homes in England to have completed a full course of authorised COVID-19 vaccine doses at least 2 weeks before 11th November, unless they have a medical exemption. As part of your pre-employment checks you will need to provide evidence of your vaccinations or medical exemption. Your employment will not commence until this evidence is received.
