The focus of the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN) is to lead and catalyse collaboration and improvement between academia, industry, health and care providers, commissioners, and citizens, with the aim to generate continuous improvement in the region’s health and wealth.

 

As one of 15 regional AHSNs established in 2013 by NHS England to spread innovation at pace and scale, the WMAHSN enable the West Midlands healthcare system to take advantage of innovations that can help to save time, money and lives across our diverse population, which includes many of the most challenged, deprived, and vulnerable communities in the country. Our role is to support partners to work together across areas of identified need, adding value for our patients and population.

 

As Human Resources and Organisational Development (HR&OD) Manager, you will take the lead on all employee relations matters across the organisation and will be the responsible lead for multiple portfolio areas as part of the HR and OD Agenda.

 

You will have a sound understanding of the business strategy through a range of comprehensive, innovative and high-quality HR interventions and operate on a pragmatic and solution-based principle whilst ensuring compatibility with WMAHSN wide strategies and corporate values.
