This is a great opportunity for an experienced Associate Practitioner/Nursing Associate to develop into an Assessor/Trainer role as part of their professional development. In-house training and support will be provided to assist your development in to this role. This post is essential to meeting the continuing professional development needs of staff and to ensure staff are able to have the confidence to deliver high quality care.

This post requires you to share your existing clinical experience, skills and knowledge and support the development of all HCSW staff by delivering the HCSW Induction programme and assessment of the Care Certificate qualification.

In addition the post holder will be expected to assist and support the Practice Educator with supporting the delivery of some of the clinical training. You will also support design, delivery and evaluation of programmes of education and training identified through a variety of processes.

We are looking for someone with clinical knowledge, who has completed the Care Certificate and the Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care (or equivalent L4/5 qualification in Healthcare) who has worked as an experienced band 4 and has a keen interest in education and training, who is able to work effectively within a team and has excellent communications skills.

It would be desirable that the post holder will have a level 3 teaching/assessing qualification.

You will need to have access to transport to travel across the Trust sites for training delivery.
