Days & Hours: Term Time Only - 22.5hrs (Mon/Wed/Fri), 0900-1700hrs

CCS Bedfordshire & Luton Children’s Community Services are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Team Administrator to work term time only in our Bedfordshire & Luton Children’s Community Health Hub based at Woburn Court in Kempston.

The successful candidate will provide ‘front door’ support to those contacting our children’s community services by telephone and email, liaising with clinicians and services users to ensure an effective, efficient and streamlined service. They will need to have excellent telephone, communication, and customer service skills. In addition, they will have a strong client focus and be able to work under pressure in a busy environment, be flexible and adaptable with the ability to work as a positive team member. In return they will be joining an experienced team who will support in this role and offer full training support.

Our safe recruitment pre-employment checks are undertaken before any appointment is confirmed, which may include a DBS check, & where the position requires you to drive, you will be asked to validate your driving licence online via DVLA. The government has announced that from 1 Apr 2022, all NHS staff, health & social care workers, & volunteers working in England, who are deemed in scope including face to face contact with patients, will need to provide evidence they've received a complete course of a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved COVID-19 vaccine, (1st and 2nd dose), unless medically exempt. As part of the recruitment process, you'll be asked to provide evidence of your Covid 19 vaccination status.

Unvaccinated individuals will need to have had a 1st dose by 3 Feb 2022 in order to have received a 2nd dose by the 1 Apr 2022 deadline. If you are employed by the NHS and it is unlikely that you will be fully vaccinated by 1 April 2022 (and no exemption applies), then a formal process will be undertaken in line with internal Trust policies

Successful applicants at band 6 or above for which a DBS check is required, will be asked to pay for this as a condition of their job offer (£44 for an Enhanced Check or £27 for a Standard Check). Payment will be deducted from their 1st month’s salary unless a longer pay back period is agreed. This will not apply to successful applicants who are registered with the DBS Update Service & in possession of the disclosure certificate, for whom an online status check will be undertaken.

In submitting an application, you authorise Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, to confirm any previous NHS service details via the Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) process should you be appointed.
