Are you a Physiotherapist, Paramedic, Nurse; interested in delivering quality Respiratory care?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Solent Pulmonary Rehabilitation aspect of the Southampton Integrated COPD Team. The team are integrated with University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and they strive to deliver person centred COPD care throughout the patient pathway.

This is a specialist respiratory team comprising of COPD Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Specialist Physiotherapists, Exercise Instructors and health care support workers.

The team are seeking a full time, motivated and dynamic Specialist Clinician to deliver pulmonary rehabilitation, and individualised COPD careacross locations in Southampton in addition to remote and video-based interventions.

We are excited to offer this opportunity and welcome applications from clinicians (Physiotherapists, nurses, paramedics) with experience in long term condition management including respiratory care. We would also consider a Developmental Band 5 post.

There is potential for support in developing advanced practice roles, in line with anticipated service evolution and patient population needs along. This is along with the core component of providing high quality pulmonary rehabilitation.

You should be able to undertake lone working / autonomous work when required. You will have support from the experienced clinicians on the team to develop in this area so will need to be motivated to learn and improve your skills in chronic respiratory care.

You will need access to a car with a valid licence for this position. You will be required to travel between sites during your working day and hold appropriate business car insurance for this.

This is an exciting and rewarding role delivering COPD care with innovative and patient focused approaches.
