If so, South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic PTS Mentor & Skils Educator. You will join the PTS Education Team at Newbury Education Centre and also work and be based within the SCAS Hampshire operational setting.

The successful candidate will enhance the educational and operational Apprenticeship Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) programme. You will provide team leadership and mentorship to apprentice ECA’s in the non-emergency operational setting as well as support with the facilitation of non-clinical education courses and programmes from the classroom to simulated enhanced learning technologies.

The PTS Mentor & Skills Educator role will provide local team management and mentorship to trust-wide Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) apprentice ECAs through professional development, accountability and supporting on-the-job learning. The successful candidate will have good sound knowledge and understanding of the role of an Ambulance Care Assistant with prior exposure or experience of the Patient Transport Service operational setting.
