This Part Time Estates Administrator position, based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield (S10 2SF), is to assist in a the very busy estates department. 


This is a band 2 role. The pay rate is £9.49 per hour plus accrued holiday pay


This is a full-time position Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8am – 4pm that will run until at least the end of December 2021.


The Receptionist / Administrator will support a busy estates team and be responsible for:

  • Reception duties
  • Issuing Contractor passes via the Sky Visitor System
  • Issuing keys and ACT cards to contractors
  • Escorting contractors to view induction DVD & updating information into ElVis
  • Receiving, opening and distribution of internal and external post
  • Issuing requests for new keys
  • Inputting information into other Database Systems used by the Directorate
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries and requests
  • Dealing with email enquiries and requests
  • Liaising with users and colleagues relating to maintenance or emergency issues
  • Using Concerto System for Help Desk cover on a daily basis as & when needed
  • Receive and accept/reject Portals received for maintenance requests
  • All related administration and database management
  • Liaising with trust colleagues, external contractors and suppliers


Skills required for the role:

  • Any experience of working in a facilities or estates department would be advantageous.
  • IT Skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook are essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • A can-do attitude.
