We are seeking a ‘Junior Support Desk Analyst’ to join our busy Information Systems Support Desk Team. We provide support in Clinical Applications to all Solent staff in Southampton and Portsmouth. The role is fixed term until 03/10/2022 and will be 37.5hrs a week.

The successful applicant will support the Manager and Band 5 Support Desk Analysts in supporting Smart Cards, Clinical Applications, primarily SystmOne, but also on Inform, PACs, NHS eReferrals, and other Portsmouth Hospitals Trust and University Hospitals Southampton clinical applications, quick learner, organized, and an excellent communicator. You will need to have a flexible, friendly and approachable attitude and be an enthusiastic team player who has an eye for detail.

With a positive approach to customer care, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, priorities your workload and manage your time efficiently.

Training and support will be given to the right candidate although experience of Clinical applications, mainly SystmOne, is essential. Working knowledge of Clinical Systems and Community and Mental health service experience are preferred.

Applicants must have excellent IT skills and be prepared to work in other bases when necessary.

Due to the nature of the post it is expected that you will have access to a car, a full driving license and insurance for business use.
