The Government has formally announced that it intends to introduce regulations that will require most healthcare workers and those staff with contact with patients to be fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd dose) against COVID-19 by the 1st April 2022. Cancer Nurse Specialist (Skin Cancer)

 

BAND 6 Permanent (37.5 hrs) Skin Cancer Nurse Specialist.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the oncology & plastics services directorate/cancer services, for a skin cancer nurse specialist nurse to work with the lead band 7 Skin Cancer CNS, and support the skin cancer MDT.

 

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, creative & self- motivated individual with experience in oncology/plastics/palliative care, or other relevant cancer experience, to work as part of the cancer nurse specialist team, supporting patients & carers with skin cancer from diagnosis & throughout their treatment pathway. The successful applicant will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and be part of the Cancer CNS team under the leadership of the Lead Cancer Nurse.

 

NB: Although the post will be predominately focused on skin cancer, there will be the requirement to support the sarcoma service. A job description is attached for your information.
