The Trust will support you in this duty by providing ongoing training, support and advice and have a Corporate Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for guidance and the provision of safeguarding supervision.

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provides inpatient and community health services across Hampshire to people with physical health needs, mental health needs and learning disabilities. The Trust has over 150 sites, including hospitals and community-based teams.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Audit Facilitator to join our small Clinical Effectiveness Team which sits within the Quality Governance Team.

The Clinical Audit Facilitator will support the delivery of the Trust’s Quality Improvement strategy and delivery of clinical audit across the Trust by:

  • Planning and designing quality clinical audits
  • Setting up clinical audit tools
  • Analysing clinical audit data and preparing reports
  • Supporting clinical colleagues to learn and share information to improve services following clinical audit

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a Clinical Audit or Quality Improvement role, with good verbal and written communication skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.  Experience of using clinical audit software to support collection of data and data analysis in report writing is also desirable.  Training will be given in other Trust electronic database/audit systems which the post holder will be required to use.

Due to the nature of work, the post holder will be required to have good levels of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to develop networks with key stakeholders across our complex organisation quickly and effectively.
