We are looking for a motivated and hardworking nurse to join the HIV and Sexual Health research team. This team has also been instrumental in running COVID-19 research in the last 18 months. The post offers an ideal opportunity for someone to develop their career in research delivery.

In the first instance, the candidate will support the HIV and Sexual Health Clinical Trials team, helping to expand our portfolio of HIV, sexual health and COVID-19 studies, by linking closely with our outpatient HIV and sexual health services, and linking with local GPs. You will coordinate various clinical trials and research projects. This includes: recruiting participants into clinical trials/research studies, data collection and cleaning, managing patient care, and Site File maintenance. Experience working in HIV/Sexual Health, or research will be advantageous.

We require an enthusiastic nurse with:

- Ambition to develop professional, clinical & research skills

- Ability to manage difficult situations and use own initiative

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Non-judgmental and empathetic attitude

- Ability to prioritise own workload

- An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality

- Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards

- Great team working skills; somoene who is keen to support their colleagues, and ask for help when needed as well

This role requires the successful candidate to be patient facing, and may include taking consent and samples from patients who are COVID-19 +ve, and working in COVID positive spaces (wards or outpatient setting).
