Would you like to join our critical care teams as a Critical Care Support. We are recruiting to vacancies on Ward 18 ITU and HDU and Ward 38 Critical Care

Ward 18 ITU and HDU RVI has 10 ITU beds and 12 HDU beds

Ward 38 Critical Care RVI has 10 ITU beds & 10 HDU beds.

This role incorporates housekeeping, equipment maintenance, monitoring and ordering of department stock items, assisting registered nurses with the provision of patient care, assistance in administration and clerical duties.

  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to communicate with members of the public and healthcare providers
  • Ability to work effectively under direct supervision, as part of the multi-disciplinary team

  • Experience of caring in a health care setting
  • Presents self as courteous, respectful and helpful
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • NVQ Level 2 in appropriate subject(or on pathway) or equivalent qualification/experience in care or domestic work
