The NHS is at a crucial moment in its journey in managing and recovering from the global pandemic. Here at Solent, one of our priorities over the next year will be reshaping our approach to strategic and operational planning and project delivery. We are seeking motivated, flexible project and planning professionals to lead, coordinate and deliver a range of organisational priorities.

We are looking for individuals who are solution-focused with highly developed communication skills and demonstrable experience in the management of projects and/or programmes.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, responsiveness and enthusiasm and will be able to rapidly move between and re-prioritise pieces of work as business demands necessitate.

You will have experience and relevant qualifications/training in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business planning
  • Project planning and coordination
  • Project management
  • Programme management
  • Bid writing and tender management

Successful candidates will be selected to join our project management bank and be called upon as required to support and deliver local NHS business priorities.

  • Creation of planning/project management tools and training materials and skills/knowledge transfer

  • NHS or other public sector experience is desirable but candidates from other industries will be considered
