This role provides operational support of the Health Roster System for the Care Group, including working to produce safe and efficient staff rosters in conjunction with management teams and ensuring compliance with roster processes. You will have knowledge of the rosters within the care group and be responsible for supporting staff in updating the roster and inputting unavailability’s, including sickness, leave, patterns, excess hours, and overtime. You will maintain strict confidentiality over the holding and dissemination of personal information and understand the agreed staffing capacity and capability for each area on a shift by shift basis and escalate any concerns regarding staffing and/or the quality of clinical care each area when they arise.

You will have experience using Microsoft Excel to run reports/audits so that the Roster system can be checked for accuracy. You will assist in delivering service side training and development on bespoke roster processes for the care group and producing user guides.

One of the key areas of focus for this role is to balance hours owed and monitor regularly to reduce corrections after finalisation.

Within this role you will provide regular feedback to managers and staff about system usage including hints and tips about how to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the system and be a key contact for any system issues and work to resolve these effectively and in a timely manner. ‘Trouble shooting’ for problems encountered by staff in using the Roster/allocate me
