The Trust will support you in this duty by providing ongoing training, support and advice and have a Corporate Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for guidance and the provision of safeguarding supervision.


The Mid & North ISPA is looking for motivated, forward thinking individual who provides excellent customer service and quality care to patients and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your skills of coordinating patient care and direct liaison with clinicians using internal systems and will be suited to someone who is focused on continually improving outcomes for patients.

This post offers the chance to join our dynamic Admin team in our new modern office in Herriard – Basingstoke, which provides effective and organized coordination of care for patients in the community. We work closely with our local acute providers, GP surgeries and families to support clinicians to deliver a much-needed service in Basingstoke, Alton, Andover, and Winchester areas.

You will work closely with a wide MDT (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and community nurses). This is in line with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trusts commitment to improving the quality of community health services across Hampshire.

All staff receive regular PDR’s, supervision with line management and Peer Reviewing, statutory training, and induction. Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of admin and clerical training courses including medical terminology and minute taking (study days and online training.) Staff Development is actively supported and encouraged.

The service is 7 days a week – so occasional weekend working, and bank holidays is included within this role. Having access to a car to be able to the office is essential.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment.

Frontline Healthcare workers (who have face-to-face contact with service users) in England will be required to ensure they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, from 1 April 2022 . To work as a frontline healthcare worker from 1 April 2022 it will be a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated. This requirement will also apply to those in ancillary support roles such as porters or receptionists who may have social contact with patients but are not directly involved in their care.

To be fully vaccinated you must receive both doses of a Covid-19 vaccination. Successful applicants will be required (unless exempt*) to provide evidence of their covid vaccination status (NHS COVID Pass) or evidence that they have commenced their journey to becoming fully vaccinated. If the required evidence cannot be provided then any offer of employment may be withdrawn.
