We have two exciting opportunities for experienced People Professionals to join our friendly and committed People Partnering Team to work with work with us in an innovate and fresh thinking way.

As a People Partner you will had experience of working alongside service lines / departments and helping managers and teams to maximise performance whilst supporting, encouraging and developing an inclusive culture and one in which wellbeing and compassionate leadership is fostered.

This role is offered on a permanent basis, working flexibly in a hybrid model predominantly working from home and will require some on-site attendance at variety of locations in Portsmouth and Southampton and around the county. The roles are full time and 30 hours.

If you are a highly skilled HR professional, with previous experience as a HR Business Partner we are interested in hearing from you!

The key aspect of this role is in delivering exceptional advice and support on complex ER cases, as well as acting a subject matter expert on organisational change processes including service redesign and TUPE. You will act as a Partner to service line users and other colleagues internally and will provide support and challenge to ensure the Trust Values are upheld.

Key areas of work will include:

  • Developing strong business relationships with service management, working alongside them to identify workforce opportunities and issues and developing the appropriate business-focused People interventions.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of efficient, high-quality People Partnering to service line stakeholders
  • Ensure that close effective working relationships are established and maintained between the People Partnering team and Business Intelligence, Workforce, Recruitment, Occupational Health, People Services, Leadership and Development and Apprenticeship teams.
  • To work with colleagues across various corporate and service teams in developing and implementing new ways of working.
  • Operate as an advocate of Trust values, engagement, change and transformation, championing best practice people management, influencing key workforce/people decisions to ensure the most effective deployment and development of the workforce.

We also ask that you are qualified to CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent), have the ability to deliver customer focussed HR service, with a well-developed knowledge of employment law, best HR practice, HR policy and procedure. We are seeking individuals who are experienced in working with managers at different levels of seniority to resolve complex employee relations issues including organisation change/transformation, with an ability to exercise sound judgment in complex scenarios and apply critical reasoning when problem solving or assessing risk
