The Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) Catering Department have an exciting opportunity for part time Catering Assistants working 30 hours per week, 5 days over 7covering hours between 07:15 to 19:30 on a 7 week rolling roster. This post is at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Catering Department and is aid in the delivery of patient food trolley while using a electric tug which full training will be given . Your Job role will involve:

1. Taking and collecting patients trolley from wards and departments

2. Driving a electric tug (full Training given).

3. Helping wards with any issues with food trolleys

4. Using industrial dish washer.

5. May include some food preparation as well and using Industrial dishwashers

These posts require a flexible approach to hours of work and to meeting the needs of our customers and patients whilst being supportive of the large food service operation at the RVI. Please note this role involves a lot of moving and handling, driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential

You will need a good awareness of food hygiene and be willing to under take allergen training and COSHH training and hold a level 2 in food hygiene.

Good weekend enhancement is paid for weekend work
