An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to join our dynamic and strong multi -disciplinary team on our emergency department at St Mary’s Hospital. As one of London’s major trauma centers we are a proud member of the major trauma network for London. The adult and pediatric departments see in excess of 125,000 patients a year, with a resuscitation area, majors, and ambulatory assessment areas. The department is supported with a 40 bed admission unit and a 12 bed Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) currently working as ED South and work in close cooperation.

You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the department, supported by the Matron and charge nurses, where you can develop your own clinical and management skills as you further your career. Applicants will need to demonstrate a dynamic, hardworking, and passionate approach to delivering high quality patient care. The ability to administer IV drugs is essential. Venipuncture / Cannulation, and ILS are desirable but not essential.
