Are you a Staff Nurse in adults: qualified, newly qualified or a final year student waiting for your PIN number? Passionate about community nursing whether this is your first role or you have lots of experience. We welcome your application to join our community neighborhood nursing teams.

The NHS long term plan is to provide more care in community settings such as patients own homes whilst enabling early discharge from hospital and reducing hospital admissions. Our service is at the very heart of that vision, delivering complex care and empowering patients in their own homes.

When you join us, we work with you to develop your own personal developmental plan that supports your learning style. We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network. We won't just stop there though, we are proud of our career progression offer that will allow you to develop your clinical, leadership and preceptorship skills.

Neighborhood services operates from 7am to 10pm every day of the year. The shift patterns are: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm,10am-6pm and 2pm-10pm. We understand that people have busy lives, and we offer flexible work opportunities.

Community nursing suits people who can work independently and within the wider team. You’ll be resilient, motivated, and adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment and of course, a passion for providing the best possible care.

You need to be dynamic, innovative and can motivate and encourage others. Excellent communication skills and experience of case management and multidisciplinary working is crucial to this role.

As a team member you will develop relationships and friendships with many others within work. There’s lots of opportunities to be supported and for you to support others.

There is a statutory requirement for staff in this role to provide nursing or personal care within Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated care homes.

Therefore, in line with new government regulations which come into force on 11 November 2021, anyone employed in this role will need to evidence they have had two doses of a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved COVID-19 vaccine, or that they come within a specified exemption. Evidence of vaccination status should be provided via the NHS app, the NHS COVID pass via the NHS website, or an NHS letter as part of pre employment checks.
