This is an exciting time to be working at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, delivering care across our three acute hospital sites.

We are looking for an experienced and credible nursing / healthcare leader who, in conjunction with the Deputy Chief Nurse and Chief Information Officer (CIO) will define the Trusts Digital Strategy and oversee its implementation and benefits realisation.

The post holder will provide strategic clinical advice and guidance, working collaboratively with key stakeholders, to provide direction and nursing leadership in the development, deployment, optimisation and integration of digital and clinical information systems and transformation across the Trust.

Key aspects of the role include:

Delivering true innovation, optimisation, and transformation of current ways of working

Act as a figurehead and dynamic reference point for Trust-wide staff of nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals (AHPs) for digital matters

Be an active member of the Trusts Digital Strategy Board to create, lead and manage clinical stakeholder groups supporting the development of the digital strategy

To work as part of the Digital Clinical management arrangements with responsibility for ensuring that cost, quality and service standards are an integral part of and inform their decision making

To play a key role in the creation of clinical digital champions

Promote clinical engagement, education, and empowerment of staff

Proactively manage digital risks and issues ensuring appropriate actions are taken

A key aspect of this role will be to encourage and support clinical colleagues to embrace transformational change associated with the digital agenda and to act as a liaison between the Trusts clinical collective and the digitisation programme.

The post holder will be a strong advocate for transformational change through technical innovation and will actively promote and champion the development of a clinically appropriate information culture, as an enabler of change and quality improvement across the organisation.
