As a valued member of the Academy, you will work alongside research, clinical effectiveness, improvement, people participation, knowledge, communications, and admin staff from the Academy.

Your work with QI teams will include staff from across Solent, partner organisations, patients, carers, and the public, supporting them to deliver and share complex/large-scale improvement projects. This will involve identifying the best tools to structure their projects and ensuring that they can work successfully with core stakeholders and people across the community. The role will be key to the ongoing growth of an inclusive improvement culture across the organisation.

Applicants will need to have knowledge, skills and experience in QI methodology and leadership, with the drive and enthusiasm to support services with improvement activity and a personal commitment to life-long learning. The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal skills, infectious enthusiasm, and an ability to be flexible and positive. You will be working with people of all levels of experience and will be able to act as a mentor and credible advisor.

We will encourage and support you to be part of local and national improvement networks. The role requires the ability to travel across Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with some flexibility for working patterns.

Applications are welcome for full time and part time positions. You will also need to have a driving license with access to a vehicle for work use (mileage allowance paid).

We would welcome you to talk to us about what we do, ask questions, and arrange a visit. Please contact Colin Barnes (Head of Improvement)
