Band 6 Hospital & Community Midwife

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Midwife to join our friendly, credible and dynamic maternity team on the Lindo Wing Private Maternity Unit. At the Lindo Wing we have been providing the best private obstetric and neonatal care for mothers and their babies for over 75 years. Our international reputation has made us the choice of thousands of mothers including many royals and celebrities. We offer a unique service by a dedicated team of staff who provide a unique, traditional and individualised service with the backup service of the NHS to maximise the safety of our patients.


We are able to provide our patients with world-class facilities with excellent quality and standards of care. We are continually enhancing the service we provide and have recently commenced a range of holistic services with bespoke packages to our patients to further enhance the care that we provide. We are also continually developing ideas and ways to expand and develop our maternity services in partnership with our consultant.

We are looking for an exceptional candidates with 2 years’ experience as a band 6 Midwife in either hospital and/or community settings. You must have good organisational, sound clinical skills and be adaptable and flexible to change.

The successful candidate will provide excellent high quality hospital and community maternity care and will be a motivational and inspirational team member within a small team of midwives and other healthcare professional.

You will be given excellent opportunities to develop your midwifery and decision making skills, whilst consolidating your clinical expertise in a supportive and highly motivated environment. Integrated community/hospital rotation within Lindo Wing Maternity is an essential part of the role.
