The Trust will support you in this duty by providing ongoing training, support and advice and have a Corporate Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for guidance and the provision of safeguarding supervision.

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provides inpatient and community health services across Hampshire to people with physical health needs, mental health needs and learning disabilities. The Trust has over 150 sites, including hospitals and community-based teams.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our small Clinical Effectiveness Team which sits within the Quality Governance Team.

The Clinical Effectiveness Administrator will provide support to the team by:

  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external contacts.
  • Providing general administrative support to a high standard, including minute taking, letter writing, creating presentation materials, maintenance of accurate databases, organising meetings, events and workshops.
  • Chasing colleagues across the Trust for returns of information in relation to audits, assessments and policies.
  • Maintenance of electronic filing systems.
  • Supporting other Administrators in the team.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a busy Administration role, has a friendly, approachable manner, and good verbal and written communication skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Training will be given in other Trust electronic database/audit systems which the post holder will be required to use.

Due to the nature of work, the post holder will be required to have good levels of accuracy and attention to detail, be able to work to agreed deadlines and have a flexible approach to supporting colleagues from different specialisms within the Quality Governance Team as workload needs require.
