Community Hospital & Hub Manager – South Molton Community Hospital

South Molton Community Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to join the team in the role of Community Hospital & Hub Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the building and Outpatient Services.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the administration teams to ensure provision of an effective, efficient support service. Key responsibilities will be providing support and leadership to these teams, ensuring HR policies are followed, key targets are met, representing the Directorate when required and rolling out new initiatives / ways of working. You will be working with staff at all levels and across all staff groups, so good communication skills are essential.

The post holder needs to be flexible, approachable and resilient. Proven management experience is desirable.

This Band 5 post is either a Fixed Term (9-10 months) or Secondment and the contracted hours are 34 hours per week.

Community Hospital & Hub Manager – Tyrrell Hospital

The Tyrrell Hospital, Ilfracombe, is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to join the team in the role of Community Hospital & Hub Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the building and Outpatient Services.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the administration team to ensure provision of an effective, efficient support service. Key responsibilities will be providing support and leadership to the team, ensuring HR policies are followed, key targets are met, representing the Directorate when required and rolling out new initiatives / ways of working. You will be working with staff at all levels and across all staff groups, so good communication skills are essential.

The post holder needs to be flexible, approachable and resilient. Proven management experience is desirable.

This Band 5 post is permanent/substantive and the contracted hours are 33.5 hours per week.

The Government has formally announced that it intends to introduce regulations that will require most healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd dose) against COVID-19 by 1st April 2022. To achieve this the successful applicant must have had their 1stCOVID-19 vaccination by   3rd February 2022. Therefore, full COVID-19 vaccination will be a condition of employment unless an individual is medically exempt. We will ask for proof of vaccination during the recruitment process.
