We are currently looking for a permanent Mental Health Practitioners within HMP Wayland.

HMP Wayland is a category C adult male prison, located near the village of Griston in Norfolk, England.

 

About the role

You will be a Mental Health Practitioner for the mental health team and will provide the triage and assessment for initial referrals and interventions to clients. You'll play a key role in providing a duty role for urgent referrals and support senior staff in development plans. You will hold your own caseload of patients and will contribute to the ACCT reviews and assessments when required.


About you

You will either be a Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Social Worker/ Occupational Therapist, or hold membership with BABCP/BACP/ UKCP. You will also have a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an ever changing environment. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you!

This is a full time permanent position, with a salary of upto £34,000 per annum
