Consultant Dermatologist

THE HILLINGDON HOSPITAL NHS TRUST WITH MOUNT VERNON

Applications are invited for a substantive full-time Consultant dermatologist with an interest in Contact Dermatitis (10 PAs) to join our Dermatology Department. The postholder will play a key role in realising our ambition to build a high quality clinical service by bringing new skills to our Allergy service.

The Hillingdon Hospital is a District General Hospital, located in West London, serving a population of approximately 240,000 people in the Borough of Hillingdon. It has 600 beds and it incorporates General Medicine, Care of the Elderly, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Mental Health and has a very busy Accident and Emergency Department. Hillingdon is situated within the M25, only 18 miles away from central London and within easy reach of the main motorway networks and major airports.

The Hillingdon Hospital has merged its acute services with Mount Vernon Hospital with inpatient acute medical services located at the Hillingdon site while maintaining medical outpatient clinics, day care and elderly rehabilitation at Mount Vernon.

Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register (Allergy or Clinical Immunology) or be eligible to be on the Specialist Register within six months of the date of the interview.

Applicants should have appropriate previous experience in Dermatology.
