The Hillingdon Hospital Trust is seeking applications for a Consultant to join our dynamic Acute Medicine Team. The post-holder will be joining the team during an exciting time, as the department develops its model towards the opening of a new hospital within the next 5 years. The post-holder will have the opportunity to shape the service in preparation for the new site.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a thriving Unplanned Care division. The department has a history of innovation in patient care, and has a continuing personal development programme to support on-going service development. Candidates will have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the department and take part in Hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient care and experience.
The post holder will be expected to participate fully in the provision of general services in Medicine, including governance issues and maintenance of the new Department of Health Quality Indicators. Candidates who are interested in sessions in other Medical Specialties are also encouraged.

The appointee should have experience in Acute/General Medicine and are required to be on the Specialist Register (AIM or GIM) within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.

This is a full-time 10 PA post, however applications from candidates wishing to work less than full time are also welcomed.
