Would you like to work with a forward thinking and innovative team in Community Nursing? If so, Portsmouth Community Nursing Team are recruiting!

The service is also seeking Registered Nurses who are keen to work and develop their skills within the community setting. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will work within a Primary Care Network team lead by one of our community Matrons and will work alongside other professionals such as GP’s and Social Services. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will be an autonomous practitioner and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work to a high professional standard, which will enable us, as a team, to provide high quality, person-centred care.

Community Nursing service provides Nursing care to patients at home across the 24-hour period with a Day team (08:30 – 17:00) and an Out of hours team (Twilight - 16:00 – 00:00, & Nights- 21:30 – 08:30) seven days a week, 365 days a year.

We are currently recruiting for Days and the Out of Hours service who work a combination of twilight and nights.

Successful applicants will have good communication and interpersonal skills and will need to be flexible and adaptable. Community experience is desirable although not essential as we have an innovative competency-based approach to training and development to support you to maximise your career potential. In return for your skills and commitment we will offer you regular supervision, internal and external training opportunities, and regular contact with other professionals across the area.

Must be a car driver with a valid driving licence or have access to transport with appropriate business insurance in order to travel throughout the Trust, to meet the needs of the service.
