North Manchester General Hospital (NMGH) has reached an exciting moment in its history, becoming part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. NMGH has a vibrant future ahead as it works with MFT to continue to enhance the provision of care for our patients and our communities. Plans are well underway to also create a state-of-the-art health and wellbeing campus on the North Manchester site which will see a new hospital built and and the development of a vibrant civic hub for the area.

The NMGH Transformation team will play a key role in supporting the delivery of these major change programmes, developing significant improvement projects to integrate services as part of the Single Hospital Service model, implement the transition to MFT, support our Covid recovery and ensure that current ways of working begin the journey towards a new and modern healthcare setting.

As a Transformation Delivery Manager, you will work alongside the clinical teams to deliver change to integrate clinical services, co-ordinating change projects both within and across hospitals and partners. Degree educated or equivalent and with excellent project management and organisational skills, you will have a proven track record of delivering practical change and/or quality improvement projects within acute settings. Proactive and motivated, you will have high level interpersonal skills and be able to bring people with you, overcome resistance and operate comfortably at all levels. The successful post holder will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and be able to analyse, interpret and apply data and complex information in service of evidence-based improvement. Successful candidates will thrive in a team-oriented environment but should also be capable of working independently, leading every aspect of a transformation project or programme.
