An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Dentist to join the expanding team within the Solent NHS Special Care Dental Services. This post is to support delivery of our community and specialist dental services working out of our Millbrook and Royal South Hants clinics in Southampton and our General Anaesthetic Centres

You will be an experienced and dedicated Paediatric Specialist with the clinical, communication and managerial skills necessary to provide excellent patient care and inspire confidence and commitment across the dental team. You will join a motivated, multi-professional team, dedicated to providing high quality dental care and improving the patient experience.

Solent NHS Trust, Special Care Dental Service provides comprehensive dental care for children and adults with special needs, and for other priority groups, across Hampshire.

We have vacancy for a Band C salaried clinician. Scope of the role will fall within the competencies of a Band C dentist as defined in the National Terms and Conditions of Service.

You will work with our Clinical Lead for Paediatric Dentistry to provide specialist advice and treatment for children with additional needs and/or high dental treatment needs.

You will be registered with the GDC and be on the Specialist list for Paediatric Dentistry. You will require a Performer Number to work within NHS Primary Care Dentistry, hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle. The posts will require the relevant disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
