Salary is dependant on NHS experience and current banding/pay point, applicants from outside the NHS will receive the start point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms & conditions.

Hollybank (Children's short break centre) Health Care Assistant

£24,228 - £25,675 per annum Inclusive of HCAS

Hollybank Apprenticeship pathway available for those without a qualification. This leads to a diploma in residential childcare but will attract a different (lower) salary initially.

This work will be based predominantly at the Hollybank Respite Centre , based in Orpington.

The role will involve supporting and undertaking simple assessments as well as meeting the needs of children with complex health conditions, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, within a variety of environments.

The post holder has the opportunity to develop skills for working with children, their parents other professionals.

We are looking for candidates who have some experience within learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and/or complex healthcare.

Training will be given on site.
