We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Secretary to join our administration team at the Dental Access Centre at Heavitree Hospital, Exeter.

The post holder will provide all aspects of secretarial & administrative support to the Senior Management team & clinical team within the department. Duties will include diary management, audio typing, organising meetings & associated paperwork. Taking accurate minutes of meetings and liaising with other departments & services to communicate appointment and admission related information. Collating data & updating electronic records.

The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and accurately, to provide high quality, confidential secretarial support & will also possess excellent communication & IT skills, along with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service.

This is a full time substantive role 37.5 hours/week. Please note this advert may close early if there is a sufficient amount of applicants.

We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.
