Band 5 Children’s Community Staff Nurse (Jarvis Centre)

 Are you a children’s nurse with at least 1 years experience looking to develop your skills within the community?

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic team player to develop their expertise in the community within our West Surrey based team.

 37.5 hours per week (between the hours of 8am – 6pm). The hours are worked over a 7 day week, 365 days per year with shorter days worked on a weekend.

This role is based out of Jarvis Centre, Guildford.

As a Children’s Community Staff Nurse your role will be to facilitate hospital discharge and provide clinical care to children aged between 0-18 at home in West Surrey and NE Hampshire, ultimately reducing the need for hospital admissions. You will work within a small team of registered nurses and health care assistants.

 Care may be short term, long term or palliative.

 Children’s Community Staff Nurses work autonomously, contributing to the organisation of daily visits. You will be proactive and forward thinking ensuring a smooth service.

 CSH have a commitment to the educational development of staff and provide ongoing internal training and opportunities to complete relevant external training to support you within your role. This includes the chance to apply for and undertake the Specialist Practitioner Qualification in Community Children’s Nursing.
