Band 5 0-19 Community Staff Nurse

Band 5 Community Staff Nurse Positions within the 0-19 Children and Families Teams (Health Visiting) Part time and full time vacancy in Spelthorne, Elmbridge and Epsom Boroughs .

Are you a nurse thinking about working in a different way, promoting health and wellness? Interested in the opportunity to work with Families and Children within the Community setting?

This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses from a variety of backgrounds and experience to develop their career in working with children and families. You will have the opportunity to deliver the 0-19 Public Health Programme for example developmental reviews, infant feeding, parenting and behaviour management advice. Promoting health through teaching children, young people and families and supporting child health clinics. Whilst working within a borough based team you will be supported by our Clinical Team Leaders, Practice Teachers, Clinical Service managers and Safe Guarding Service.

Our 0-19 teams are innovative, enthusiastic and motivated to deliver the best healthy outcomes for children and families within Surrey. Excellent peer based support and supervision will be given while you develop your knowledge, skills and competence. In addition Children and Family Health Surrey are developing their Health visiting and School Nursing workforce and a Band 5 position will be a gateway onto sponsorship for the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.
