Leeds Community Healthcare Charity is one of more than 400 registered charities in the UK associated with NHS Trusts. care. The charity's aim is not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it - providing grants to existing or new projects that are over and above those served by government funding. It has the capability to make a difference to patients, their families and staff of the trust. This role will support the administration of the LCH Charity supporting this to meet the Charity's aims.

The main responsibilities of the job will be to oversee the internal and external administration for the Leeds Community Healthcare Charity; this will include managing the Charity email inbox and responding to queries appropriately. The post holder will provide support to the Charity processes, and will lead on implementing streamlined administration functions.

Working closely with the LCH Charity Operational group, and LCH Charitable funds committee, the successful applicant will support the internal application for funding processes, and support the charity to expand it's reach with stakeholders and communities.

The role is based within the Clinical Governance Team which enable the Trust to provide evidence to patients, the public, commissioners and to statutory bodies that the Trust provides services that are safe, effective, responsive, caring, patient centred, well led, timely, efficient and equitable.

In line with the Trust values and behaviours the candidate must be able to communicate with a wide range of people,working collaboratively. They must also be able to work to deadlines and be able to multi-task. Lastly they need to haveexperience of raising the profile ofcharitable funding/charities internally in the Trust and to wider partners (including NHS Charites Together), running events and developing and running administrative charitable funding processes
