Applications are invited for the below Clinical Fellow posts at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The post will be full-time, 40 hours per week, however less-than-full-time (LTFT) posts may be considered:

Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine (3 posts)

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is a major teaching Trust with ten hospitals on a number of sites. The hospitals involved are Manchester Royal Infirmary, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and University Dental Hospital of Manchester (collectively known as the Oxford Road campus), Wythenshawe Hospital, Withington Community Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Altrincham Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.The two Emergency Departments receive approximately 110,000 patients per annum. You will receive teaching each week on all aspects of Emergency Medicine through the Electronic Learning Environment. You will be encouraged to undertake audit and teach medical students.

You will be based in the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments, Ambulatory Care Unit and the Acute Medical Unit (where applicable). You will be expected to assess patients, make primary diagnosis and initiate emergency treatment under senior supervision. There are senior A&E clinicians in the department 24 hours a day for clinical support and advice.
