Band 6 Anaesthetic Practitioner ODP/Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Anaesthetic Practitioners to join our vibrant Theatre Team working in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington. We have 2 Private theatres and a dedicated Emergency Obstetric Theatre. We perform a wide and varied range of elective surgery; this includes General surgery, Bariatric, Urology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Emergency Surgery and Major Trauma for West London. This is an exciting time to join the Lindo Wing to further your career and enhance your skills.

You should have significant post registration perioperative experience, which includes the supervision of junior staff. Acting as a role model you will be able to influence and motivate your colleagues to deliver excellent care, which optimises our patient’s experience. You will be able to work cohesively with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst taking decisions and prioritising work specific to your responsibilities. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are therefore essential for this role. Candidates who are multi skilled in both Anaesthetic / Recovery and or Scrub specialities would be an advantage.
